Performance and Productivity

Cognitive performance emotional regulation, decision making and sustained focus are governed by sleep quality, blood sugar stability, cortisol levels, inflammation and hormonal balance. When these systems are under strain the impact will show through performance - quality of thinking, pressure, capacity to lead and collaborate effectively.

Research shows that employees with poor metabolic health, disrupted sleep, or chronic low-grade stress operate at a measurably reduced cognitive capacity, often not because of effort or attitude, but because the health foundation simply isn't there to support peak performance. Nutrition, movement, sleep and stress regulation are essential physiological foundations that determine how well your employees function and directly translates to the quality and output of everything they produce.

Stress, Burnout and Resilience

Stress remains the leading cause of long-term sickness absence in the UK. Work-related stress, anxiety and depression accounted for approximately 50% of all work-related ill health cases in 2023/24 (CIPD Health & Wellbeing at Work Report), and 1 in 4 employees report feeling burnt out often, or always.

Stress is a full body physiological response. When a nervous system is chronically stress the body prioritises survival over other system function - immunity, digestion, sleep quality and hormonal systems are compromised.

Resilience is not a personal trait, it is something that can be taught trained and supported. Equipping your employees with education around stress management, nervous system regulation, sleep, and nutrition provides the tools to build true resilience, before they reach breaking point

Engagement & Retention

Employees who feel their employer genuinely supports their wellbeing are three times more likely to be engaged at work, and twice as likely to stay (Deloitte/Gallup). An employee carrying chronic stress or health conditions, poor sleep, lifestyle imbalances is limited in their capacity to feel motivated, connected and invested. When organisation address the biological foundations of wellbeing, engagement naturally follows.

Retention is a recruitment cost avoided and saves additional workload and headaches to look for role replacements.

Engagement is productivity already paid for. A culture that actively supports health and wellbeing is one that attracts and keeps good people — and gets the best from them every day.
